We had the pleasure of hosting the Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Travel South event last night, March 4, 2012. Six hundred of the country’s top travel and tour operators visited the Kentucky Derby Museum for an evening of cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres. After a rousing welcome into the museum by the LCVB Kentucky delegation wearing their Derby finest, they were greeted with a traditional mint julep, and warm southern hospitality. Guests enjoyed a “Taste of Kentucky” selection of food with a beautiful landscape of vegetable crudities, fruits, and cheeses; smashed potatoes and southern style grits; Kentucky Burgoo, hot brown casserole, and a wonderful carving station with two show stopping smoked pigs! 

We were thrilled to be a part of such a great welcoming reception for Travel South and look forward to hosting another great LCVB event soon!
